Hello, my name is Serkan Ekenel and I am an industrial designer (OCADU 2021).

“I seek alternative strategies and solutions to improve the lives of those with physical disabilities. In collaboration with health care professionals and educators I aim to create positive learning experiences for physically disadvantaged individuals through observation, diagnosis, research and the design of practical solutions to real problems. ‘One size does not fit all.’ Each client will present a unique set of challenges requiring flexibility and adaptability in order to address their specific needs.”

Focused on the field of design for health, my goal is to use creativity, problem-solving skills and research to create assistive devices that will make life better for those living with physical disabilities.
